Modern Wood Heating

What are wood pellets really?

  • A cylindrical compacted sawdust from untreated wood.
  • Width = 1/4 to 5/16 of an inch
  • Length = 3/8 to 1 ½ inches
  • No chemical additives
  • Calorific value 7,200 to 7,500 BTU/lb (LHV)
  • Ash content is 0.5% to 1%
  • Water content < 10%
  • Bulk density > 40 lbs. per cubic ft.

Centralized Heat with Wood Pellets

The MESys AutoPellet Boiler is ideal for central heating and domestic hot water. The fully-automated, highly efficient wood pellet boilers are designed to meet the demands of households, businesses, and institutions without backup.

Never See or Touch a Pellet

Loose bulk pellets are delivered into onsite storage units.

Clean, Easy, Convenient Delivery

Pellets are delivered as loose bulk product by pneumatic pellet delivery trucks.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

Modern Wood Pellet Boilers

Are not entirely carbon neutral as some fossil fuel is required for harvesting trees & shipment.

Local Responsibility

The Northeast burns 85% of the #2 heating oil consumed in the US every year.Less than 25% of every dollar spent on #2 heating oil stays in the region.Nearly 100% of every dollar spent on wood pellets stays right here in the regional economy creating jobs and fueling the local economy.
